Final idea for portfolio piece

After looking into police/forensic investigations i am very interested in trying to recreate a pretend crime scene. Based upon the examples that I have seen, the 3d models are normally set in a house, or a building with lots of rooms but then obviously it could be outside too.

The model i will create shall be my grandmas house, because I am cool like that. I'm creating my grans house because I have already made mine and my girlfriends house in previous university projects. The house will have two floors and seven rooms across which i feel is about enough rooms to show creativity but also not too much that I would over shadow the point that im trying to get across.

This piece is also fantastic for collaborating as well. There are many sections of this piece where I will require a character animator to  animate a simple rig getting shot or something.

I quickly made a basic layout of my grans house from memory. After i take some photos, I shall have a better idea of the general structure in her house. Perhaps I should spend some time developing her garden a bit more too.
